History

This Foursomes Matchplay competition was started by a group of Past Lady Captains in 1995. The winners are presented with a trophy which takes the shape of a circular bread board. This competition had not been played for in 8 years and was reintroduced in 2015.

Format

The Competition is open to 6 and 7 day Lady Members and limited to a maximum of 16 players (8 pairs) who will be put through to a draw.

The Palma Duciana is played as a Knockout Competition during the months of September and October.  The format will be foursomes matchplay over the 18-hole course.

BEFORE SIGNING TO ENTER THIS COMPETITION, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR AVAILABILITY TO COMPLETE EACH ROUND IS GOOD.

ROUND 1 BY 17 SEPTEMBER, ROUND 2 BY 1 OCTOBER, FINAL BY 15 OCTOBER

Signing-in  

Signing in opens on Friday 11th August. Please sign up in pairs via the touchscreens or online.  Maximum: 8 pairs,   Minimum : 6 pairs

Cost to Enter

The entry fee is £3.00 per player, see above which will be charged to your Club Card.

Closing Date

The closing date for this competition will be Sunday 27 August and the draw will be posted on Tuesday 29 August. Entries accepted on a first come first served basis.

Matches

Due to the small number of participants, tees will not be reserved for these matches. Mutually agreeable dates/times should be organised with your opponents.

Please write the results of the matches up as soon as you have played so that subsequent matches can be arranged.
